The fall bite has kicked off and were enjoying cooler mornings and less people on the water! Its a great time to come out and enjoy the great outdoors.
Brazos river- Has been fishing great and running at low flows for a while now. The bass topwater bite has been decent and the streamer bite has been on fire especially prefront. Still seeing plenty of carp and freshwater drum up skinny making for some decent sight fishing. Its also a great time for over night float if youre into camping riverside.
North Texas Lakes(Ray Rob,Lake fork)- bass action has been picking up as well as running into schools of white bass working shad. Common carp are feeding hard still and with the cooler mornings its been nice. Bowfin never really slowed down but they are still up skinny and feeding in sight fishable spots.
Lake Conroe/Raven- Both are really turning on with the cooler weather. Avoid high pressure days and get in on that prefrontal action. If its drizzling put on a rain jacket. Bowfin are also up skinny and the lakes at a great level for sight fishing.
Lake Houston creeks- Spotted and largemouth bass and sunfish fishing has been decent and most creeks are running at low flows but rain is coming so check flows and look for clearer water.
